Al took this as a peace gesture and gave on of his typical wide smiles. Then he turned to Nat "Who? Oh, that girl down there? Don't know her" he smiled and ran a hand through his hair "Well, lets go to the waves then!"

Jade stood up and walked away. She disappeared amongst the trees near by.

Al saw Jade walk away and frowned. "Should we invite hat girl to come with us? It'd suck to be lonely on a day like this..."

Al stood next to Nat. Suddenly he wrinkled his nose, and his eyes darkened. But he didn't say anything.

Jade looked at him and took a small step backward.

Al shook his head and stepped back a bit, wondering if he was being unreasonable. He looked back up and smiled, but it looked slightly forced. "So are you coming with us?"

Al tried to relax a bit, but his shoulders remained tense and he gritted his jaw. "So" he said, trying to loosen up the atmosphere. "Do you like swimming?"

Al turned around "Hurry up Nat!" he stopped, waiting for her. This girl Jade reeked of Vampire and it really was hard for him to remain polite. He clenched his fists.
